The film features music by Peg and The Bouffants, The Twist, The Law and Luva Anna and stars newcomer Darren Hawes as Cal, a fifteen year old boy set on having his own band playing his own songs. But his messed-up, misshapen musical family are not interested, he hasn't got the guts and he is always babysitting.  A chance meeting with a random crazy girl makes him realise maybe real music is a lot closer to home.
